Alexander the Great's Conquests (jan 1, 336 BC – jan 1, 323 BC)
Description:
Alexander the Great, upon inheriting his father's kingdom and army, begins his conquest of the Persian Empire and creates the largest empire in the world in the process. He does all this without ever being defeated in battle.
After his death the empire is divided among his generals and this heralds a new Greek Age for the East Mediterranean as Greek language and culture become dominant.
