Description:
As new discoveries and inventions begin to alter the fabric of society, large scale warfare, unrest and disease epidemics threaten to undo the prosperity and stability of Europe and middle east.
The Byzantine Emperors are in exile as Constantinople has fallen to Latin invaders while the Holy Roman Empire continues a destructive conflict over the authority of the Emperor and reels from the Great Interregnum.
The Kings of France and England begin to be engaged in a bloody struggle over the French throne for generations and in both countries there is great unrest among the people and the nobility.
On top of this the black death appears and kills vast swathes of people across Europe and Asia.
