Turnabout Reminiscence (sep 8, 2012 – sep 10, 2012)

Description:

Murder of Deid Mann by Mack Rell; murder of Mack Rell and Byrne Faraday by Calisto Yew.

- Deid Mann was a Cohdopia Embassy staff member who was prepared to testify against an international smuggling ring. Before he was able to, however, Mack Rell shot him and was caught on camera. Rell was hired by "The Yatagarasu" on behalf of the smuggling ring and was given further instructions after the murder.

- During Mack Rell's trial, he accused the acting prosecutor Byrne Faraday of hiring him and of being The Yatagarasu. A recess was called and Miles Edgeworth was arranged to take over the prosecution; this was to be his first case. However, Byrne Faraday and Mack Rell were found dead in the defendant lobby of Courtroom 3. Detective Tyrell Badd was called to the courthouse as a witness due to the involvent of The Yatagarasu, but headed the investigation after the murders were discovered. Detective Dick Gumshoe was also brought onto the case, which became his first case assigned. Miles Edgeworth and Franziska von karma greatly aided in investigations.

- It is revealed during a thorough investigation that Rell's defense attorney Calisto Yew was not only responsible for both murders, but also the "Yatagarasu" that hired Rell and prepared his testimony. Furthermore, Yew was an agent of the smuggling ring who was assigned to eliminate Deid Mann and retrieve the missing "Yatagarasu Key", a key that belonged to Manny Coachen. Calisto Yew was able to escape the courthouse with the key, and has evaded authorities since.
