Description:
Widely regarded as the grestest dramatist of the Sanskrit language.
Plays are based on the Puranas, which are Indian books of a wide range of topics.
Lived and wrote between the 4th and 5th century AD, flourishing in the 5th century.
Three major plays are "Mālavikāgnimitram"," "Abhijñānaśākuntalam,"and "Vikramōrvaśīyam."
