Description:

The church of the Sacred Flame estimates the Sorcerer-Kings and Arcane Empire came into existence around -900.

The time before this was populated by various humanoid races that worshiped the "Old Faiths." Additionally, those with strong innate arcana consolidated power throughout this time.

The Church has concluded that the worship of the "lesser gods" led to the rise of the Arcane Empire and Sorcerer-Kings, as their power and principles allowed despots to flourish.

The Miracle performed by the Church of the Sacred Flame has wiped out most (public) records of this time period. The Church believes this was a necessary "sacrifice" to cleanse the world of the Arcane Empire's evil doings.

Ruins and relics still exist from this time, although their history and context is extremely hard to discern.

The time before this era is considered "Pre-history". Records and artifacts are scarce, although Dwarves are known to have some relics from this time.
