Description:
In January 5th 1066 many challenged his rule and especially William who challenged his rule greatly. In August of 1066 he gathered between 4,000 to 7,000 men and on September 28. Harold himself got wind of this and marched 7,000 troops to meet William and on October 14 they fought for the day a bloody fight and in the end Harold died by an arrow to the eye and William won. On December 25 1066 Christmas day William was crowned and became king.Added to timeline:
