Woodstock Music Festival (aug 15, 1969 – aug 17, 1969)
Description:
This festival opened in Bethel, New York. The promoters, John Roberts, Joel Rosenman, Artie Kornfield and Michael Lang had originally planned the festival to be able to raise funds for a music studio in Woodstock, New York. The colony of artists included Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead, and the Who, as well as many others.
