The Victorian Graphic Design era is well known as the Industrial Revolution. It was a period of fundamental changes in the design world. The Industrial Revolution began in England in 1837 and ended in 1901. It was a 'new beginning' since it destroyed the 'old way of doing things'. The Industrial Revolution went from human and animal power (agricultural) to steam power (industrial). The steam powered machines opened a new beginning for mass production to evolve.
