The Northern Takeover (mar 30, 1823 – mar 2, 1848)
Description:
James Bay leads New York on a march to acquire the land of the northwest ordinence. This is the first action against the Articles of Confederation that sparks a fear in the other states that the Articles have lost their power and they are vulnerable to takeovers from any nation. Each state begins to think and fend only for themselves as completely independent states, and the articles of Confederation fall apart.
