The Golden Age (Earth-2) (jun 2, 1938 – oct 1, 1956)

Description:

After the arrival of Superman on Earth, the number of costumed superheroes spiked. Adventurers and crimefighters like Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Sandman, Doctor Fate, Johnny Thunder, and many more joined the ever-growing ranks of Earth's heroes. Eventually, entire teams of superheroes began to form, the most popular of course being the Justice Society of America. This era was known as the Golden Age of the DC Universe. It would last for decades, until eventually being phased out by the Silver Age, which, although not known at the time, actually took place on Earth-1, whereas the previous events of the Golden Age had taken place on Earth-2.
