Description:
Created in 2002, and going public in 2003, Friendster attracted millions of users. Users were allowed to share photos, videos, and instant messaging. Users could also use the site to find hobbies, things to do and even dating. However, after some rebranding to try to keep the site alive, it faced a dramatic decline due to other competing social media sites like Myspace, Yahoo!, etc.Added to timeline:
