Description:
The Civil Rights Movement took place in the 20th century and was a movement across the nation for equal rights for African americans. It also fought for ending racial segregation and exclusion in the U.S. By the end of the 1960s, after fighting, this movement was successful in obtaining equal rights for African Americans.
