Mexican War of Independence (sep 16, 1810 – sep 16, 1821)

Description:

Miguel Hidalgo y Castillo, being fed up with the Spanish rule in Mexico issued his Grito de Dolores that called for independence and started a march to Mexico City with thousands of lower class. Independence came when Royalists wanted to appease the Mexican liberals which bothered the conservatives to the point of pushing independence to keep privilege.
