TIME OF GOD'S END (G.E) (jan 1, 2451 – jan 1, 3500)

Description:

When Emperor Indorius died and his eldest took the throne, the very council of Clerics known as the Hearthkeepers enacted a law of succession known as the Edict of Eternal Blood, which was done to try and keep Indorius' blood as pure as possible, this allowed inbreeding to be common part in the royal family and, save for a few voices who warned against it, commonly accepted by the populace as well.

The resulting consequence was Leopold I...

Leopold was mad even at the ages of a boy, he was seen talking to things that didn't exist and had people punished for the simplest things. When the time came for his coronation into becoming the next emperor his madness only furthered as he now had absolute power by his side, not to mention the gods most powerful artifacts on him at all times. As time progressed Leopold's madness seeped into the artifacts and slowly began corrupting the gods into thinking that only one of them should rule, this began a civil war both inside the heavens as the gods fought over which one should rule the mortal races, and the other in the Bürach Empire as they fought over which clergy should help rule the Empire. To end the turmoil that then lasted for 1 year after, members from the four churches conspired against Leopold and sent assassins to kill the mad emperor, they swept into the palace and killed the emperor. Once Leopold died the artifacts disappeared and shortly after, Aurelia snapped out of her insanity and saw what had happened, the land had been destroyed and ravaged by the god's civil war, so in an attempt to save Etharis she used all her power to shield the world from the god's destruction and save the world, she succeeded, but it cost her life and then she died shortly after while the other gods continued fighting and eventually slew each other. The destruction of the last god sent a massive shockwave that shook all the magic in the world, shortly after the shockwave was felt the remaining leaders called a ceasefire to heal and recover from their losses of the civil war, the church decided to put a new emperor, Aratron I was installed.
