Massachusetts State House Time Capsule (jan 1, 1795 – jan 1, 2015)
Description:
the work of Samuel Adams and Paul Revere. It included newspapers, coins from the 1600s, a page from the Massachusetts Colony Record with a picture of George Washington when he was still only an army general, and a silver tablet stating the names of the creators and the intended recipients (the government of Massachusetts).The capsule was once opened in 1855, and in 2014 a repairman found it, and was opened again in 2015. This time capsule is the world’s first UNPLANNED time capsule.
