Description:

「漩渦主義」 (Vorticism) 是受到「立體主義」 (Cubism) 和「未來派」 (Futurism) 的影響，在英國興起的藝術群體，其主要目的是想要表達「現代世界的動態」 (the dynamism of the modern world)。

「漩渦主義」畫風主要是合併了「立體派」的「實物碎片化」 (fragmentation of reality) 與邊緣清晰的「硬邊影像」 (hard-edged imagery) 的繪製技巧，並將其應用在「機器與環境」的圖像上。畫作一般皆有一「靜態中心」，再環繞以「動態內涵」。
