Description:
1. in 1534 lead voyage to new world in order to seek gold and other riches and found a new route to asia2. set sail on april 1534 had 2 ships-61 men and arrived 2 days later
3. came back and reported his expedition to king francis, brought 2 captured native americans from gaspe peninsula
