-"Then you will know that I am the Lord." This means that God, who is sovereign over all, works everything in order to restore his people and save them.-God calls Ezekiel to be a watchman. This is important because a watchman is responsible for warning the people of incoming danger. If he fails to tell the people about God's incoming judgement then he will have the same judgement as them.
