Before Michael Jordan got drafted, he attended the University of North Carolina. He was their star player averaging 17 points per game. Michael Jordan was third in the league for scoring and fourth in steals in his Rookie season. Michael Jordan led the Bulls to the playoffs. Michael Jordan has 6 championship rings and a five-time Most Valuable Player award and one defensive player of the year award. Michael Jordan is in the debate of the greatest basketball player of all time. Michael Jordan was picked 3rd in the NBA draft. The three teams regret their decision ahead of him. Michael Jordan then made a shoe brand deal with Nike. He then went on to make lots of money and cool shoes to sell to fans. Some of these shoes were Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 2. As of right now, Michael Jordan is 60 years old. This is super important because Michael Jordan didn't only inspire a lot of people but people that are in the NBA today.
