663.M33 - Youenn Dran is appointed as the 4th chapter master of the Sons of the Righteous at 751

000.M34 - Youenn Dran is ambushed by the daemon Yarrow during the turn of the heinous sons. He fights valiantly, however, the daemon is far beyond his capabilities to slay, and quickly wears him down. By the time reinforcements arrive to drive the daemon away, Youenn Dran is gravely injured, but does ultimately survive after days of surgery.

This incident is the catalyst for the creation of the honour company. Due to the near complete eradication of the 1st company, the honour company effectively replaces the 1st company for several hundred years.

039.M34 - Apothecaries voice concerns about the chapter master's deteriorating health, claiming that old 'healed' wounds from his fight with Yarrow are worsening as the years go by. Similar symptoms are uncovered in the few marines who also survived encounters with Yarrow and the apothecarion begins researching a solution.

051.M34 - Having had no success curing the condition, and in light of concerns of potential chaos corruption, the Sons begin seeking external aid. They travel to medically advanced planets and consult several experts in warp based pathogens/curses.

080.M34 - By this time Youenn Dran is considerably weakened and, having found no cure for his condition, it is decided that he will be interred in a dreadnought.

090.M34 - Youenn Dran surrenders his position as chapter master, citing deteriorating mental ability.

111.M34 - Despite being interred in a dreadnought, Youenn Dran's health continues to deteriorate, until he is unable to be awakened, and is found to have fully died. It is believed that his interrment did not stop his declining health as they had believed it would.
