Miracle on Ice 1980 Olympics (feb 22, 1980 – feb 22, 1980)
Description:
This was a hockey match played in the Olympics between the USA and the USSR. This was a huge part of the US citizens believing that the cold war would end. The US people didn't think that they would be able to defeat the world's best hockey team for the past 15 years with some random kids. Those kids went on to beat the USSR 4-3. After this huge win the US thought that they could come out of this war and could win it if they tried just like the boys did to win the gold medal.
