Description:
Montesquieu was a wealthy French writer who was best known for his creations "Persian Letters" (1722) and "The Spirit of Laws". In these scriptures, he pointed out the flaws of society and offered up a new idea: the separation of powers. He suggested the government to be broken up into three different branches to avoid corruption and ensure justice.
