Description:
it was a series of bilateral agreements between Mexico and the US established this program to provide Mexican agricultural workers in the Southwest. From 1947-1949, more than 142,000 undocumented workers were legalized in this way. Had support of Growers cuz Mexicans immigrants offered cheap labor.Added to timeline:
