The Battle of France (The Fall of France) (may 10, 1940 – jun 25, 1940)
Description:
Germany invaded France and Low countries. This battle consisted of two operations, Case Yellow and Operation Dynamo. During Case Yellow, Germany cut off allied units which had advanced into Belgium at the Ardennes, this pushed the British and French back. In Operation Dynamo, the British evacuated their British Expeditionary Force with other French divisions. This battle resulted in the Axis victory.Added to timeline:
