Description:
Thomas Jefferson was what we would call a polymath. He was an extremely talented individual, who was skilled in many languages including Greek, Latin, French, studied law, invented new machines, and had an aptitude for science. Jefferson was also against slavery, and tried to ban slavery as part of the Declaration of Independence, but this idea was refused by the others part of the Congress.Added to timeline:
