President Lin Sen (Puppet-State) (dec 15, 1931 – aug 1, 1943)
Description:
Lin Sen was the president of China through most of World War II and the Second Sino-Japanese War. Time magazine called him “ Puppet President Lin” because even though he was president, he didn’t have any influence on public policy and he was only a figurehead while Chiang Kai-Shek held the real power (after the Battle of Shanghai).
