John Locke (jan 1, 1632 – jan 1, 1704)

Description:

John Locke was a strong believer in the phrase, "Life, Liberty, Property." These ideas were represented by things that everyone should have the opportunity to receive, and nobody can take these away from you. Life means your life, the liberty being freedom, and the property is important because you must own property in order to vote. John Locke inspired the English Bill of Rights by having studied the Magna Carta, which has important rules on limiting the powers of leaders.
