Description:
Montesquieu was a wealthy French writer and philosopher who wrote The Persian Letters, a novel about 2 Persian travelers making fun of French Society. A second book written by someone else called the Spirit of Laws was a collection of his ideas and writings. Montesquieu also created the idea of Separation of Powers.
