Description:
- June 1793: The Reign of Terror begins in France with the execution of King Louis XVI
- September 1793: The National Convention introduces the Law of Suspects, which allows for citizens to be arrested without cause
- October 1793: Maximilien Robespierre is appointed as the leader of the Committee of Public Safety
- July 1794: The Reign of Terror officially ends with the fall of Robespierre
