Description:

Mary Wollstonecraft was an English author who did not receive a proper education due to her slightly impoverished family. She wrote "Thoughts on the Education of Daughters" in 1787, which was written to contradict Rousseau's ideas and discussed the importance of equal education between women and men. Mary also wrote "A Vindication of the Rights of Women" in 1792, in which she discussed her feelings on the idea that women should be seen as equal to men.
