Description:
Founded under Emperor Wen Di, the Sui Dynasty saw the construction of the Grand Canal connecting the kingdom and creating agricultural advancement. The Sui Dynasty also reinforced and reconstructed the Great Wall of China. This period also gave rise to Buddhism. The Sui Dynasty was quite authoritarian which led to rebellion.Added to timeline:
