WWII and the Holocaust (sep 1, 1939 – sep 2, 1945)
Description:
The Holocaust was likely the lowest point in history for Human Rights. Hitler and the Nazis rounded up and killed or imprisoned millions of Jews, enemies, political opponents, homosexuals and people with disabilities. It demonstrated when somebody gained too much power to suppress and belittle millions of people. The Holocaust was horrible, and unforgiving, but it showed the world how badly abuse of power could go.
