Jews in Czechoslovakia (jan 1, 1938 – jan 7, 1939)
Description:
About 356,830 people in the Czech Republic were Jewish by religion. The partition of Czechoslovakia in 1938-1939 determined the fate of its Jews during war time. This particular issue is easily considered as a domestic issue, because as the Nazis invaded, an entire community of people were forced out of their homes.
