The Constitutional Revolution (jan 1, 1906 – jan 1, 1911)
Description:
The D'Arcy Concession caused unhappiness for Iranians, because they disliked how Iran was being heavily influenced by Britain. This, in turn, led to dissatisfaction with the shah. The constitution post revolution mainly redistributed power in Iran, and Iran became a nation with its people as citizens. Shi'i Islam still maintained a key position in the government, making Iran an Islamic state.
