Description:

US won (technically). Led to increased Nationalism; Era of Good Feelings. Also led to industrial growth as it forced the US to be more self-sufficient (Britain stalled trade w/ US).

The Federalists were against the war and New England even thought about seceding- their opposition to the war led to a decline for the party; more political dominance for the Demo-Repubs
