Description:

A composer who is still alive! We had to get there eventually. Nørgård studied at the Royal Danish Conservatory, and began teaching at age 28 at the conservatory in Odense before returning to the Danish Conservatory to teach composition. He wrote five operas, six symphonies, and many instrumental and choral compositions (a cappella and accompanied). Most of his choral music is chamber in nature
