Franz Schubert (Austria) (jan 1, 1797 – jan 1, 1828)
Description:
Schubert learned music at a young age from his father and brother, quickly becoming an organist and chorister. He entered a training program for elementary school teachers and began teaching at his father’s school while composing. He was a very prolific composers writing hundreds of lieder (145 in the year 1815 alone), and several masses, symphonies and instrumental works. He died at the age of 31.
