From 3000 to 331 BC, the Sumerian, Assyrian, and Persian civilisations were at their height. The development of art history was significantly influenced by each of these cultures. Complex cuneiform tablets that recorded Sumerian daily life, politics, and religion were made possible by the advent of writing. The rich colour and detailed detail used in Assyrian art to represent wars, hunts, and magnificent images of power were well-known. The elaborate stone and precious metal sculptures that were a hallmark of Persian art. These carvings usually included elaborate patterns in addition to realistic representations of humans, animals, and mystical beings.
