Montgomery bus boycott (dec 5, 1955 – dec 20, 1956)
Description:
One of the main events that sparked the Montgomery bus boycott was when Rosa Parks was arrested. This boycott was against the racial segregation on public transit systems in Montgomery, Alabama. Instead of taking the bus, these boycotters would walk or carpool to where they needed to go.
