Technological advancements in 1920s: Radios, Movies/Film, Art/Music, Automobiles.
Women played a major role as many wanted to be independent. Flappers emerged and had daring clothings.
1950s- "Culture of Conformity"--> Image of a safe and prosperous America and rise of conservative lifestyle/ideals, shown to the world to show how capitalism is a great thing.
