Life of al-Ghazali (jan 1, 1058 – jan 1, 1111)
Description:
al-Ghazali was a smart Islamic theologian and scientist, who tried to fuse Qur'anic and Greek traditions. His ideas weren't entirely accepted by ulama. The ulama are orthodox religious scholars within Islam. They pushed for a more conservative and restrictive theology and opposed scientific thinking and non-Islamic ideas.
