Montgomery bus boycott (sep 24, 1963 – mar 3, 1965)

Description:

on the day rosa parks was convicted for not giving up her seat to a white man on the bus, the leaders of the local black community declare a boycott on the city buses. during the time she was convicted Rosa lost her job because of the boycott and her actions. the bus boycott ended when the Supreme Court ruled the segregation laws on city buses were unconstitutional.
