Description:

First new Deal :A series of reforms were enacted by the FDR administration between 1933-1942 with the goal of ending the Great Depression. (There were two New Deals)

Bamnk holiday: All the banks were ordered to close so that the Treasury Department could inspect banks before they could re-opened. An emergency banking law was rushed through Congress to protect Americans.
