Montgomery bus boycott (dec 5, 1955 – dec 20, 1956)
Description:
This was the protest against the segregation on public transportation, it started when Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat to a white passenger. The boycott was led by Martin Luther King Jr and lasted for 381 days. During that time black people walked and used black taxis to get around. The boycott ended in December 1956.
