Description:
Andrew Johnson (disliked by many Radical republicans): (His plan was very similar to Lincoln). He applied the 10% rule ratification of the 13th amendment, and would pardon the Confederate States for their crime (of secession. He was impeached for violating the Tenure of Office Act, but he had fired a Secretary of War Stanton who believed in Republican ideals, and he was fired by Johnson. For that reason, Johnson has impeached (just charges were brought against him).
