5B-Thirteenth Amendment (jan 31, 1865 – jan 31, 1865)

Description:

Passed at the end of the Civil War by Abraham Lincoln. It stated that ""Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."" . This was passed to abolish slavery!!!
