Description:
Wars between China and Britain. Britain tried selling Opium to China because they faced an imbalance of trade with China over silk and tea. China ended up closing their ports, which caused Britain to attack the fleet for access. The Treaty of Nanking was made that gave Britain access to the Chinese ports.Added to timeline:
