Description:
-Deadliest battle of WW2 and one of the bloodiest battles in the history of warfare
-Took place on the Eastern Front of WW2 at Stalingrad, Russia (now Volgograd)
-Axis (Germany, Italy, and Japan) vs. Soviet Union (Allied Powers)→ control of Stalingrad
-Close-quarters combat and direct assaults on civilians in air raids, estimated 2 million total casualties
-Weapons: Used German Machine-Guns, Soviet bombing-planes, and varying types of rifles on both sides.

-Impacts: The Wehrmacht (German army) suffered so much loss that they had to withdraw their army from several fronts all around Europe to compensate for their loss
The Victory of the Soviets energized The Red Army and shifted the center of power during WW2 towards the Soviet Union’s favor
