Description:
The Battle of Stalingrad has sought to be the bloodiest battle in the history of warfare with the number of casualties reaching up to 2 million. The Nazi army essentially began a siege on the city of Stalingrad in the Soviet Union. The battle lasted 5 months with the defeat of German who were unprepared for the winter and closed off from resources.
