The 2nd sudan civil war. (jun 5, 1983 – jan 9, 2005)
Description:
This civil war is like a continuation of the first and it started because of the sharia law which was basically trying to force the whole of Sudan to be a Islam country. The war had later ended because of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement this made it so that southern Sudan would have autonomy for 6 years, for there to be a voting for whether south Sudan would become independent or not, and the money they gained would be split between both the south and north equally.
